What items cannot be sent by international express?

In international express delivery, there are many items that cannot be mailed or are strictly restricted. The following is a summary of items that cannot be mailed:

1. Prohibited items

Prohibited items refer to some things that are expressly prohibited from being transported in my country and internationally. Any export involving such items is illegal. Including but not limited to:

Explosives: such as fireworks, firecrackers, detonators, dynamite, gunpowder, etc.

Flammable materials: including flammable liquids and gases such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, alcohol (liquid and solid), natural gas, hydrogen, as well as matches, sulfur, white phosphorus, dried coconut meat, castor products, rubber crumbs, safety matches (boxed or sheet-rubbed), dry white phosphorus, dry yellow phosphorus, magnesium powder and other flammable solids.

Corrosive substances: such as strong acids and alkalis such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, as well as corrosive pesticides, battery fluids, etc.

Toxic substances: various highly toxic items such as arsenic, cyanide, strychnine, as well as some toxic pesticides, pesticides and other chemical products.

Radioactive materials: such as radioactive elements such as uranium, cobalt, radium, plutonium and related containers.

Magnetic materials: Strong magnetic items such as magnets and magnetic steel without demagnetization protective packaging may interfere with aircraft navigation systems, etc.

Drugs and controlled drugs: including opium, morphine, cocaine, heroin, marijuana and other drugs, as well as unapproved prescription drugs, white powder drugs, etc.

Weapons and imitation weapons: guns, ammunition, knives, imitation guns, etc.

Pirated and counterfeit goods: pirated books, audio-visual products, counterfeit brand clothing, bags and other goods that infringe intellectual property rights.

Illegal documents and materials: including state secret documents and materials, as well as newspapers, books, pictures, propaganda materials, audio-visual products, etc. with reactionary, obscene or contrary to social morality.

Items that hinder public health: such as bones (including those that have been incinerated), animal skins that have not been treated with nitrate, animal bones that have not been treated with medicine, etc.

Items that are difficult to estimate the value of and easy to lose: bills of lading, verification orders, quota certificates, licenses, passports, personal documents, bills of exchange, invoices, domestic or foreign currency (cash), gold and silver ornaments, artificial jewelry, mobile phones, etc.

2. Prohibited items for aviation

In air transportation, the following items may obviously endanger personal health and safety or cause damage to property, and are therefore prohibited or restricted from mailing:

Items that threaten aviation flight safety: including but not limited to explosives, gases (such as compressed gas, dry ice, fire extinguishers, gas cylinders, etc.), flammable liquids (such as paint, engine oil, camphor oil, engine starting fluid, etc.), flammable solids, etc.

Oxidants and organic peroxides: such as potassium permanganate, etc.

Toxic and infectious items: such as pesticides, lithium batteries, tear gas, etc.

Corrosive items: such as batteries, alkaline battery fluid, etc.

Powdered items: Regardless of the color, they may be considered dangerous goods.

Liquids: Regardless of the packaging used, they may be restricted.

Goods with danger signs on the outer packaging: such goods are usually prohibited or restricted from mailing.

Audiovisual products without certification from the National Audiovisual Publishing House: such as CDs, VCDs, etc.

Knives: including various forms of knives.

Any goods involving the concepts of "weapons" and "guns": including toy guns, etc.

III. Special restricted items

In addition to the above-mentioned clear contraband and aviation embargoes, there are some items that are subject to special restrictions in international express delivery:

Animals and plants and their products: Unquarantined meat, dairy products, seeds, plants, etc. may carry pests and diseases, and usually require special permission. Bird's nest (except canned bird's nest) is also generally prohibited from mailing.

Biological samples and specimens: Involving ecological protection and quarantine issues, animals and plants and their specimens are usually restricted or prohibited from mailing.

Some foods: It is not recommended to mail foods containing meat products to avoid being seized by customs. At the same time, the food needs to meet the import and export food safety standards and have formal commercial packaging and product labels (non-liquid powder).

Some medicines: Although some Chinese and Western medicines can be mailed, liquid, paste, and pure powder medicines are more stringent and require detailed confirmation of national information. In addition, the medicines must be legal and the packaging must have Chinese labels (including product name, ingredients, uses, etc.).

Cosmetics: Liquid cosmetics containing alcohol are usually not mailed. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the liquid is well sealed and has appropriate commercial packaging. The liquid capacity in a single package cannot exceed a certain limit (such as 500ml-1000ml), and the specific capacity may vary depending on the express route.

Electronic products: They are sensitive items, especially electronic products containing batteries or magnetic materials. Because batteries are flammable and leaky, many airlines prohibit air transportation.

In international express delivery, it is necessary to carefully understand and comply with relevant regulations and restrictions to ensure that the items can be mailed smoothly and safely to the destination. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to choosing a reliable international logistics company so that it is more convenient to negotiate and deal with problems when they arise.
